New Pink Kite Shop Opens for Business
Pink Kite Interiors in Fore Street, Fowey has launched a shop which you can visit from the comfort of your own home. Their new online shop www.pinkkite.co.uk is full of Pink Kite's funky and colourful products.
"Over the past couple of years, we have had more and more requests from visitors and customers who live outside Fowey about whether they can buy our products online" says Pink Kite's owner Jane Wheeler, who lives in Polruan. " The website is also an easy way for local customers to order and send a gift or birthday present to someone who lives elsewhere in the country".
Establishing an online shop was a new challenge for Jane "Displaying and selling products on a website is completely different concept and I was really surprised how much there was to think about and put together. As a result, I handed the management of the project over to Katherine Ogg of Golant-based Simply Time Lifestyle Management who regularly helps me with managing my 'to do' list. Katherine uploaded the product information, ran all the testing and liaised with the designers."
The online shop is proving popular and has already received several orders. Meanwhile Simply Time's latest 'to do' list is to manage a holiday home in Fowey for an owner who lives 350 miles away.

Lifestyle management service launches in Cornwall
A service which first established in London to support busy people who struggle to tackle their "to do" list has been brought to Cornwall.
Katherine Ogg, an events organiser and hospitality professional from Golant, has launched a lifestyle management company - Simply Time.
The concept of life management is already well established in London and elsewhere in the UK.
Consultants help their clients with all sorts of tasks, from help organising a wedding or event to arranging dry cleaning or gardening.
The service is likened to having a personal assistant, but for your life outside work.
Based in mid Cornwall, Katherine believes she has the best contacts and experience to make a lifestyle management service successful in Cornwall.
She said: "I've seen this type of service work really well in London, and it's becoming more and more popular".
"I firmly believe the market is ready for this in Cornwall. There are so many people in the county who work hard and play hard and I want to help people to make the most of their time."
Rhona Gardiner is a busy marketing and public relations consultant based in Newquay. She has already taken advantage of Simply Time to help regain her work/life balance.
"I think a lifestyle management service is perfect for Cornwall right now," she said.
